Robin Park hosted the Greater Manchester Youth Games in June 2000. The Games are the largest youth sports event in the North West and over 5,000 young people took part. | |

As well as a wide range of sports, there were other activities such as dance, martial arts, acrobatics and circus shows. An information point provided leaflets and information for young people as well as organising other activities. | |
